The Mission Statement
" The mission of the Murrells Inlet - Garden City Fire District is to minimize the loss of life and
property resulting from fires, medical emergencies, and other natural or man made disasters.
We will
accomplish our mission through prevention, education, fire suppression, medical services, and other related emergency and
non - emergency activities.
We will actively participate in our community, serve as role models, and
strive to effectively and efficiently utilize all the necessary resources available to provide a service deemed excellent
by our citizens."
The Murrells Inlet/Garden City Fire District
is currently taking applications for the position of FF/Medic and FF/EMT. Interested parties should contact Asst. Chief Lussier
